PAY FIXATION
1. Basic Pay (pre revised scale)at the Option date You have chosen.
2. 64%of DA to be merged.
3. Fitment Benefit(10% of pre revised basic pay OR minimum of Rs.1000)
4. Total of 1+2+3
5. fix the stage in the revised scale
6. Service weightage : 0.5% for every year of service(suppose u have 6 year of service at the date of option,u have got 3% of revised basic pay as service weightage)
7. Total 5+6
8. fix the stage in the revised scale as u r Basic Pay at the option date.
64%DA merged,remaining 14% continuing

HSST(Sr.) Scale was equal to High school HM , Ayurveda medical Officer, Agricultural Officer ect.... in 9th pay revision only HSST Scale is low, comparison with these scales
DA will be allowed at the central rate after pay revision.

so we will get 18% of DA with the new salary.
It is said that service weightage will be given only for same category service.An example from mathrubhumi online edition clarifies that 64% DA,10% FB and weightage are added together to pre revised scale.Then fix at the next stage. I did not see the report.This recommendations are obtained from daily newspapers.
fixation you have attempted, seems to be wrong....
The news from Mathrubhumi cannot be believed due to the present political atmosphere of kerala. Any way we can expect weightage at the rate of .5% in respect of the revised scale if we turn back to the previous two pay revisions.
9th pay commission cheated Higher Secondary School Teachers.scales of similiar categories eg:HM,AEO,AE,Agri:Offr,Doctor etc increased except HSST.Proposal to stop payslip system is also humiliating.

The service weightage 0f 0.5% of Basic Pay is in the pre-revised scale .. it is not in the revised scale as said in the original post.
What about the abolition of pay-slip system? I think it is not the end of self-drawing facility.. but something else. me too a Hi. Sec. Teacher... Non of the other Gazetted Officers have raised concern about the stoppage of pay slips... so the recommendation must be something else..

My increment falls on 01/10/2010 and basic pay is i0790.My revised scale of pay is 14620-23480.My total service on 01/10/2010 is 19 years.kindly fix my pay as on 01/10/2010.

All public servants are paying huge amount of money as income tax from salary, from which these peoples(blogger) are eating. We know how these people are cheating the government. Majority of us are working hard and eating from our own effort taken. These peoples have to stop blaming ,work hard and try to get psc appointments .
9th pay commission cheated Fire Service employees. Other all uniform services were equivalent. But Fire Service Personnels salary were lower than that of other uniform services. Our risk allowance is only 60 Rupees. This is absolutely cruel

The fixation steps u have attempted is wrong. Or u have to clarify the point based on what u have attempted. The weightage is not calculated on revised scale.
option date should not exceed the date of incriment or date of promotion whichever is earlier
