Review : Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex whats new in it?

Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex will release its first beta on October 2nd and final release on 30th October 2008 whats new in it?
You can track upcoming changes on Launchpad and Ubuntu. There is no huge, revolutionary changes. There is new version of X.org server and Linux kernel.

There is also a new Network Manager namely 3G support. It promis advanced autoconfig features PPP and PPPOE.

Introduce a Guest Account, yes it is a great security solution (Guest have no access to other users’ files and they cannot save any files permanently).

Another nice feature is a new encrypted private directory (~/Private). There is no access to Other users to it (chmod 700).

A cleaner has been introduced for cleaning spare packages, old kernels and post-upgrades.

Ubuntu installation from USB pendrives is possible.

Faster start with reduced startup script.

Automatic installation of drivers will download and install drivers automatically, and it includes more graphics cards, wireless devices and printers.

GUI for font configuration.

Lot of other features Like Tabs in Nautilus , Fast application search in Synaptic, BIOS Software RAID/FakeRAID support, more Flash support, PackageKit integration, better power management, improvements in spell checking and menu structure.
